Veteran Brazilian striker Jonas grabbed a hat-trick as Portuguese champions Benfica romped to a 5-0 win over Belenenses on Saturday.

Jonas scored after just two minutes but had to wait until injury time to complete his hat-trick as Benfica maintained their perfect start to the season.

Argentine midfielder Eduardo Salvio and summer signing Haris Seferovic also added to the scoreline with first-half strikes.

Seferovic had grabbed the stoppage time winner last weekend to beat Chaves 1-0.

City rivals Sporting Lisbon also have three wins in three after a 5-0 win at Vitoria Guimaraes.

Dutch striker Bas Dost scored twice in three first half minutes for Sporting. Sporting have yet to concede a league goal this season.

FC Porto, another side with a perfect record after two wins in two matches, take on Moreirense on Sunday.
